Re: Mail configuration issue
I don't know anything at all about netplan, so I'm not sure how to help with that (if it matters at all; it may not). That said, can you please share the error message in the logs for messages getting stuck in the deferred queue? It's hard to say what's going on if we don't have an error message.

Re: Zimbra 8.8.15 RC1 Released (IMHO)
8.8.12 Patch 1 just got released today. Unfortunately, it doesn't show up in the repository. I assume, those sources are correct: deb [arch=amd64] https://repo.zimbra.com/apt/87 xenial zimbra deb [arch=amd64] https://repo.zimbra.com/apt/8812 xenial zimbra deb-src [arch=amd64] https://repo.zimbra.co...

Re: Why do distribution lists have a zimbraMailHost attribute?
Each distribution list has a zimbraMailHost attribute. Accounts and resources have these, as they store data on the mailbox servers. Distribution lists are, as far as I'm aware, completely implemented as ldap records with no data in mysql, lucene or the message store. However, if the zimbraMailHost...

Re: Error during mailbox backup restore
Glad to hear it. I would note that 8GB is the minimum recommended amount of RAM, so I would expect you should be good now.armitage318 wrote:Hi, I have 4 GB.
Now I just added +4 GB (total amount: 8 GB RAM).
It seems it is running fine.
I'll keep you updated
Thank you

Re: Unable to connect to the MTA
Hi Tonster/Vavai, Thanks all. The SMTP hostname, zimbra.prod.colo is configured as round-robin that is already behind zimbra haproxy component. Can you please suggest is any feasible option to set less cache time in Java level, if I am not wrong. zimbra uses nginx, not haproxy, and there is no prox...

Re: locked out accounts: how to disable authentication with alias
Dear all in the last weeks we see brute force logins of thousands of individual IP addresses. This leads to 'locked out' accounts. In our setup, the official user email address is an alias to the account. My Question: is it possible to disable authentication (IMAP, SMTP, Web) with the alias (only w...

Re: Unable to connect to the MTA
Hi All, We have a Zimbra-8.8.8 multi server setup done. prdmta1.prod.colo & prdmta2.prod.colo are configured round-robin hostname zimbra.prod.colo that serve ldap MMR + MTA active/active + Proxy + memcache. Where prdzmb.prod.colo serves as mailbox server. The setup is fine for now. In mailbox s...

Re: Error during mailbox backup restore
Hi Tony, thank you very much for your reply ! I used the command you provided: # curl -k -u 'admin:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX' --data-binary @/tmp/user@domain.com.zip "https://mailserver.domain.com:7071/service/home/user@domain.com/?fmt=zip&resolve=skip" (I just changed format from tgz to zip)...

Re: Error during mailbox backup restore
With a smaller account (about 500 MB), restore went fine with same command.. So it seems there is some issue with large mailbox backup files .. is there a way to solve this? Thank you! This is ultimately caused by Bug 101760 , but one workaround that often works is to send it directly to mailboxd, ...
