I don't think so. At least not in all cases. I've experienced the same issue with the latest GA version, and the OP stated clearly the version with which he was having difficulty. Please don't consider this issue closed. I've moved back to the previous version of ZD because the issue is so annoying.

I'm no longer running 7.3 so I can't check inside the program for the version number, but the file that I download and installed was named "zdesktop_7_3_0_ga_b13060_20170410030639_win64.msi". This is the version with which I had the window size problem.

I have the same issue, which was annoying enough that I went back to an older version of ZD. I'll wait until some of the issues in 7.3 are fixed before trying it again. I minimize and restore ZD many times a day, and having to resize the window every time was a hassle.

The fix worked for me. ZD now minimizes to the tray as expected. However, if the ZD window is resized, sent to the tray, and then revived, the window size is not maintained. Version 7.2.8 maintained the window size setting when minimized to the tray and revived. It's a bit annoying to have to resize...

Thanks for your input. I'll continue along the path of using a fictitious server name for now and hope that I don't run into any problems because of it. I've not gotten to certificate installation yet and hopefully it won't be effected. That's about the only place I can imagine things could possibly...

No, Zimbra is not authenticating with the SMTP relay. The relay has been told to negotiate with the Zimbra server based on IP address.
