Re: Setup Backup NG

AFAIK, the NG modules should be installed with the NE install unless you answered "N" and didn't install them: https://blog.zimbra.com/2018/01/install-zimbra-collaboration-8-8-ubuntu-16-04-lts/. You then need to initialise them: https://zimbra.github.io/installguides/8.8.9/single.html#Zimb...

Re: Spam issue

That description doesn't really tell us much nor does it describe what you've done to try and find out exactly what's happening and what do you mean by "generating..."?

Re: Letters do not come with gmail

Я думаю что проблема не gmail,а проблема в моем сервере. Я с почты gmail отправил другому серверу туда все дошло . В чем может быть проблема ? These are English language forums so please post in English or your posts will be removed or move. You also need to give a better description than the one y...

Re: filter rules

The easiest way to move your ZCS installation to a new server is to use the ZeXtras Migration Tool, try it.

Re: Zimbra + Pop connector

Thank you for your response. I saw on this forum that it was possible to configure something similar in zimbra in preferences -> mail -> Account -> External Accountm but I can't find such a option in Zimbra 8.8 That's certainly there on my 8.8.15 ZCS server, there is a button that has "add ext...

Re: Letters do not come with gmail

if I send gmail to mail from mail in mail.ru then everything works fine. That doesn't mean anything, perhaps the recipient server doesn't check SORBS RBL and therefore you mail will arrive. You need to determine why it appears the sending server IP address is blacklisted, this is not a problem with...

Re: External relay change email "from" address to junk

This can be seen in all out going mail headers. Mailgun does not provide a solution for this. I just want to know whether we can restrict this through Zimbra. I've already answered this above. Once the email has left your server teher's nothing you can do to stop another server adding headers, it w...

Re: External relay change email "from" address to junk

Why do you find it necessary to send your mail through a relay? Can't you send the mail directly or could you use your ISP's servers to relay mail? FWIW, the relay host can do whatever it likes when you relay mail through them and once it's left your ZCS server there's nothing much you can do.

Re: ptr with 2 domain names

You don't do that, you have one PTR record to the FQDN of the server for the primary Domain on your ZCS server. You could have found the answer with an internet search such as this: https://www.startpage.com/do/dsearch?query=ptr+dns+records+two+fqdns&cat=web&pl=opensearch&language=englis...

Re: Spam emails using my mail server

Hi, My mail server is allowing passing external domains using my mail server to my local users. Example: Mail server: mail.mydomain.com From: fake@anotherdomain.com To: user@mydomain.com This is possible through telnet shipments (port 25) That is perfectly normal and how a mail server works. What Z...
