first, did you stop the services before you started copying? what are you using to copy? cp -rp? I think it is recommended that you use rsync instead, just so that all of the permissions are preserved. the recommended upgrade path I was told is 3.0GA to 4.0.5 to 4.5.3, but there seems to be a lot of...

Changing the Default Domain

I think you can just create a new domain with the company.com name and then go to the global settings and under general, make it the default domain. That's what I did anyways, seems to be working, on v4.5.3.

Do I have to upgrade to fix the DST bug?

I wasn't clear in my previous post, I guess my question is this, if I can deal with the wrong time stamp or appointments being an hour off for 3 weeks, is it necessary to upgrade? but If you are saying I will have missing emails and appointments as a result, then maybe I should. I'm not trying to be...

Do I have to upgrade to fix the DST bug?

Hi All, I have a 3.0.0_M1 running on FC4, and the attempt to upgrade to 3.1.0GA failed miserably for me just now, and I was going to upgrade from there to 4.5.2 which has the fix for the DST coming this March 11th. One of the options I have instead of trying to upgrade is to have everyone download t...

ER,

3.1.0GA changed something in the /etc/passwd file, I'm guessing the ldap user ID, once I restored the file from backup, it was able to start without any problems.
