We've got exactly the same since 6.0
5 was not exactly gentle on CPU but 6 on identical hardware (well identical other than we've given it more memory, another 2 cpus etc.) is 100% constantly.

Agree it's hard.... but most providers will be happy to provide you with reference sites you can email and talk to about the service. OK, I guess no one is going to refer you to anyone unhappy :p but you can get a sense of what they think is good or not so good about the service. Or perhaps try thin...
