Re: Since Upgrading To Zimbra 8.8.5, Have Been Getting Numerous Lock Errors
Like all of you I'm desperately awaiting a fix for this nasty and high priority bug! In the meanwhile I am keeping my mailserver kind of alive by adding this to the crontab of the zimbra user '/var/spool/cron/crontabs/zimbra': 05 */3 * * * /opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailboxdctl restart It will restart zmmail...

[SOLVED] Upgrade path Debian 4 -> 5 and Zimbra 5 -> 6
I'm currently running Zimbra 5.0.18 OS on a Debian 4 server and want to upgrade to both the latest Debian as Zimbra release.
What would be the smartest/best upgrade path to take? Should I first upgrade Zimbra to 6.0.1 or should I first upgrade my distribution to Lenny?

Outlook 2007 can't find ical
Unfortunately it gives the same result.
Outlook just won't ask me for a password.

Outlook 2007 can't find ical
I am trying to sync my Zimbra calendar with Outlook 2007 and by that also with my MDA. The new Outlook supports iCal which should make it possible. To configure it in Outlook I go to tools->account settings->internet calendars->new Then I use https://mail.domain.com:8443/home/username/Calendar"...

PGP support
I searched the forum and the wiki for pgp but didn't find anything.
I think it would be nice to have PGP support within the webmail client.
I use it a lot with Thunderbird. But when I quickly check my mail from another pc I ofter miss it.

Monitoring statistics and mail queues not working
Tried it but didn't work.
I edited sshd_config and uncommended
"AuthorizedKeysFile %h/.ssh/authorized_key"
Shouldn't be needed (due to the -i in the ssh command used) but it did the trick
Thanks for the help!

Zimbra only likes my own account and nobody else
I copied pasted the hosts file now. Recreating the users did the trick. They can receive mail again. Only admin is now still broken, because I don't think you can delete that account. I deleted the postmaster alias instead (which is a used email address) and created a new postmaster account. hosts.t...
That isn't the format of the entry in the hosts file, it should be: 10.0.0.1 FQDN hostname i.e. 10.0.0.1 netserver.roma.dc netserver
sorry I did put it correct in the host file but forgot the post it  This evening I will backup, delete, recreate...

Zimbra only likes my own account and nobody else
Tried and discovered something new. I added a new user 'henk' and he can receive mail :) So I guess the other accounts (except robin) are corrupted or something? I think I will recreate all the account this evening (then I am near the server so the connnection for backup/restore will be faster). But...
You need to fix the hosts file, covered many times in the forums and the Zimbra Quick Start Guide also has the details.
Okay I just added "10.0.0.1 netserver.roma.dc" to /etc/hosts Doesn't fix the problem. In the WIKI there I found this
...
