Future plans for Zimbra Desktop?
Now that we've had another change of hands it would be helpful to get another update on where Zimbra Desktop stands as far as future plans. It seemed like it had been given a new lease with plans for bringing it up to date but we really only got a bug fix release that kept it useful for a while long...

Zimbra sold again
Thanks. Credit the convoluted layout of the forum for not seeing the mention here. Hopefully the change will bring back the old forum software.

Zimbra sold again
I'm a bit puzzled that I haven't seen any mention of the fact that Zimbra has been sold again and broken apart from the former Telligent offerings. Maybe I missed it but the only thing I've seen on the Zimbra site is the fact that the Telligent stuff just disappeared from the site. [View:http://inv...

Very Disappointed
I'm wondering if confusion between browser spell check and the Zimbra spell check might be part of the OPs issue. You can add something to your browser dictionary and still have it be flagged as an error by the Zimbra spell check. I'm a little concerned about Zimbra being completely at the mercy of ...

[quote user="maxypaxy"]I was forced to switch from Outlook to Zimbra for work and have to say I am very disappointed. There is such less functionality with this program and I am required to click at least twice as much to get the same outcome as I used to from Outlook. For instance:[/QUOTE...

Moving to a NAT setup
Glad you got it sorted. I looked the info over and everything appeared the same as mine except the domain, but assumed that was to avoid conflict between the production and test versions. dnsmasq is working for me but I'm using ClearOS as a firewall/gateway appliance and have it configured on there ...

Zimbra will conflict with mysql server ?
Zimbra is designed to run on a dedicated email server. It's possible to install other software but doing so may break your Zimbra installation and if not, then at some point a Zimbra update might break your other software. This is noted in the installation guide. Yes, it's possible to sort out the p...
