Re: zmdedupe
Hello Phoenix, I searched the internet of course and the results were sobering. In 2014, somebody mentioned, that it doesn't work for secondary volumes: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=87915 (We don't have secondary volumes anymore luckily.) In 2015, somebody asked for some documention: ...

zmdedupe
Hello,
has anybody of you tried zmdedupe? Or does somebody run it regularly?
Is it safe? Or have tears been shed later?
Kind regards,
Aiko

Disable Amavis. How?
In the Past, we disabled Amavis by applying: zmprov ms `zmhostname` -zimbraServiceEnabled amavis After upgrading to 8.7.6 Amavis got enabled on its own once more. But after applying the above command, the server does not take any mails via LMTP anymore, until I enable Amavis again?! We reject and ta...

How do I disable calender sharing with "External guests (view only)"?
How do I disable calender sharing with "External guests (view only)"? Internal users are OK. But all those "External guest" pseudo accounts tend to make trouble. Especially since our internal users start to share their personal calendars with the external email address variants. ...

Critical vulnerabilities in all BES installations prior BES 5.0.4 MR2
Please update to BES 5.0.4 MR2 as soon as this bug is fixed: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=78414 (Summary: "Official support for BES 5.0.4") There are also some workarounds mentioned. They look like doing a snapshot before is a good idea. :) Please, have a look at those pages...

Zimbra 7.1.1. and BESX 5.0.3 Issues
@bthom73: Thank you! I had some tough days after doing the usual security updates... Symtoms: The Blackberry sync stopped after several hours. So I restarted the blackberry services from time to time and did a full ZDB Scanpst for each mailbox each time... Also seen in the logs before stopping synci...

Storage space is getting low
That box has - 2x 300GB for the root filesystem. (Hardware Raid1) - 2x 146GB for /opt/zimbra/index. (Hardware Raid1) - 6x 146GB for /opt/zimbra/store. (Hardware Raid5 + Spare) In the end I would't have setup an exclusive Raid for /opt/zimbra/index... But now it is like it is. And I'm sorry, I mixed ...

Storage space is getting low
Hello, our storage space is decreasing fast. The hardware is old but still doing fine (2x Quad Core + 32 GB RAM). We have only a few users ( Questions: Would HFS be an option? So, lets say, everything older than 2 years moves to the NFS storage. What are the impacts? Very important question to us: I...

[SOLVED] BAD JSON RESPONSE on SearchDirectoryRequest
This issue bugged me a lot. So, this is for the record: Setup: Firefox/Chrome/IE -> Apache Reverse Proxy -> Zimbra Server Issue: Firefox users saw a lot BAD_JSON_RESPONSE errors in some folders. Chrome users did see it a lot less. IE users had the problem too, but I cannot tell anything about how of...
