Re: Automated OS package updates may break spellcheck (<=10.0.7 [FOSS?])
Correct, but the only thing really broken is the spellcheck button.... which, do you even use? Every browser has built-in spellcheck these days.

Re: Automated OS package updates may break spellcheck (<=10.0.7 [FOSS?])
Note that these package changes just got pushed to the zimbra-1000-oss repo as part of the 10.0.8 patch release, so removing the 1010-oss repo will no longer avoid this hazard.

Re: Automated OS package updates may break spellcheck (<=10.0.7 [FOSS?])
In another thread, it's noted that these packages are coming from the zimbra-1010-oss repo (intended for a forthcoming 10.1 release), which are enabled in Ian's builds as he is working from the development branch. If installing his 10.0.7 build I would recommend temporarily disabling the 1010 repo, ...

[FOSS} Warning when upgrading FOSS repo packages (zimbra-nginx fail to bind privileged ports)
If you are running a Zimbra 10 FOSS build, you are still pulling the open source components from the main Zimbra repo but separately installing the Zimbra components, so expected upgrade actions may not occur when you upgrade FOSS components. I just encountered this after upgrading from zimbra-nginx...

Re: Zimbra 10 FOSS Installation Guide
Hi zmcontrol,
No, I haven't seen a response or really dug into this further yet. Everything "seems to work" for now, but it would be good to get an answer on the FOSS component repos at some point.

Re: [10.0.5 FOSS] iCal event with ORGANIZER property with null address cannot be added via DAV
For the second bug, where the calendar item cannot be added via DAV, I believe the problem starts in the logic in CalendarCollection.adjustOrganizer(): ZOrganizer org = invite.getOrganizer(); String origOrganizerAddr = null; // if ORGANIZER field is unset, set the field value with authUser's email a...

Re: [10.0.5 FOSS] iCal event with ORGANIZER property with null address cannot be deleted
It looks like it is not possible to create issues in GitHub, and I don't want to submit a pull request without having a build environment set up, but I have investigated this further. These seem to be two separate but related bugs. The underlying issue is when there is an "Organizer" but t...
