You would probably have to whitelist that IP as described here:
https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/IP_Address_whitelisting
Which isn't ideal if that host is actually a source of spam in addition to legitimate email.

Re: Zimbra Collaboration 8.7.x and Ubuntu OS update corrupts/removes Zimbra installation
We had success moving from zimbra 8.6 to 8.8 and 14.04 to 16.04 simultaneously by using this migration method: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_NG_Modules/Zimbra_NG_Backup/Incremental_server_to_server_migration_with_Zimbra_NG_Backup There was some minor cleanup afterwords, but overall it worked w...

Statistics wrong?
Yes, the daily reports are accurate, and are useful for daily detail, but are not useful for revealing any trends over time. The graphs _would_ be useful for visualizing trends if the erroneous spikes didn't exist. With the spiky behavior, the graphs are useless, because the spikes skew the data so ...

Statistics wrong?
I see this same spiky behavior in my statistics. I have no idea where its coming from, I have reviewed various logs looking for activity during the time windows when spikes are reported to occur, but there is nothing in the logs. The spikes are orders of magnitude higher than normal activity. I logg...

ZCS-NE : rsync /opt/zimbra/backup
True, but the original poster was having issues w/ preserving hard links in /opt/zimbra/backup. Relocate the default backup location /opt/zimbra/backup outside of /opt/zimbra. /opt/zimbra can then be rsynced/backed up however one wants w/o backup tree getting in the way.

ZCS-NE : rsync /opt/zimbra/backup
Rather than copying/rsyncing the backup files, why not just create a remote mounted directory where all of the backups are initially created. sshfs could be used if the remote host is across an untrusted network. To keep zimbra from deleting backups older than 1 month, edit the crontab that controls...

unable to connect to IMAP server
zdesktop 1.0.2
while tailing the zdesktop.log, I think I am seeing that zdesktop is trying to STARTTLS. The server in question is only doing plain AUTH. The checkbox for encrypted connection is not checked during setup.

unable to connect to IMAP server
In setting up a IMAP account in both Linux and windows, the setup fails with "unable to connect to "xxxx.xxx:143" ...." I have tried putting the IP address rather than DNS name in the incoming server field, no luck. I am able to telnet to port 143 on the IMAP server, successfully...
