Initial Sync Fail Outlook 2007 / Windows 7
FacePalm! I cannot believe i never thought of that...I will look in the trash. We also found that the three folders listed under "Trash" (not sub-folders, just beneath it alphabetically) are not syncing at all. She is also now having trouble with her shared calendars (i.e. Items she is pos...

Initial Sync Fail Outlook 2007 / Windows 7
Hi all, I have migrated quite a few people to Office 2k7 and win7 from office 2k3 and XP and have never had this issue before. Can someone please help? Upon initial sync, signatures would fail (I am told this is expected) but it chugs along. It kept getting stuck on "Synchronizing folder: Tasks...

Uninstall Zimbra
I was having the same issue. This is how i solved it:
1) Drag the Zimbra folder into the trash.
2) Make sure you log out of the web UI and close all browsers.
3) Reboot your Mac. Before opening any other programs, empty the trash, it should work.

"com_zimbra_phone"
I went into the Client and simply unchecked the box next to the phone Zimlet. I was then prompted to resatrt the client. No server restart was required. This fixed the issue for me. drdre maybe the Zimlet has to be unchecked in the client even if it is not deployed by the server?

compress data folder?
Thank you so much for that awesome explanation. Can i ask a few more questions?
Will the prompts only occur for Outlook users? We have people using Zimbra desktop, web mail, and apple mail. Should these folks expect to be prompted? If not is there a way to manually compact the DB? Thanks!

compress data folder?
Hello all, we have recently made the jump from M$ Exchange to Zimbra (6.08). Our outlook users are occasionally getting prompted to compress the data file to save disk space. Does anyone know what this does? i.e. does it compress the local data folder, or the server side iteration? Either way, has a...

Notify Locked/Inactive accounts
Has anyone gotten this to work? It would be extremely helpful if i could get notified when an account gets locked out. I see the code above but not sure exactly what to enter in the places where it would be specific to our server name etc. Or where to run line from, does it need to be a cron job on ...
