I had this same issue, turned out it was updates filling up my boot partition. See the thread below from the Ubuntu Forums, Herman's post is what took care of the issue for me. Be careful not to remove your current image!

Jason, Here are a few quick answers. 1.) Great, a lot more stable than when 7.x was released, I have been using it for about 45 days and haven't found a bug yet. 2.) I haven't noticed a difference to be honest with you. We are looking to deploy mxHero once they have an official Ubuntu 12.04 release ...

It looks like some one is looking to fill the gap of features that are being striped away.
Check out this link, it looks to me that those wanting to keep the IM sever/client may soon have a no cost option to do so.

Zimbra 8 looks great! I really like the new "Voice" tab for unified communications with Cisco and Mitel but unfortunately I do not see anything out there for Asterisk. Does anyone know if this is beeing worked on by anybody?
