disable ldap authentication for special users / mixed auth methods
Hi, most of our zimbra accounts have an external ldap reference; attribute zimbraAuthLdapExternalDn is set. But some special users do not have an external ldap-account; the external ldap auth field is empty. Zimbras first authentication method is every time to auth against the external ldap If this ...

Script to list all members within a "contact group"
Does anybody know how to get a list of all contacts saved in a "contact group"?
I need to compare the members of different contact groups and I do not like to do it by hand.
Is there a way to do it with cli/bash commands?

Script to list all members within a "contact group"
Hi,
is it possible to get all members stored in a contact group by cli-commands?
"zmmailbox -z -m public gct 3239" shows only the contactgroup attributes like Folder, Date, Nickname.
How do I find the contacts, saved withing this contact group?
Regards,
Harry

How to set smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient = yes
Hi,
I sent the value smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient how you described. I cannot see more or less mailer-daemon entries then before.
I have not send a CatchAll-address either.
Do you need a catchall-address?
Try this: zmprov modifyAccount l@ zimbraMailCatchAllAddress @

unknown UDP-Connections in zimbra.log
Hi,
I found the cause in /etc/rsyslog.d/60-zimbra.conf:
zimbra uses syslog-server for logging and one default rule contains "local0.* -/var/log/zimbra.log".
local0 is also used by our firewall....
Thanks for help,
Harry

Hi,
thank you for your tips. I figured out skype (from Microsoft) is doing the udp request.
Do you know how skype is able to connect via chrome (zimbra) to zimbra server?
Regards,
Harry
