Is there a licencing cost reason behind doing this or just attempting to raise more cash from current customers?
I was already feeling dirty after having to pay for extra licencing so our Outlook for Mac would operate correctly...

Single user can't send or receive email after upgrade to 8.5.0
I've just hit this one myself. Upgrade from 8.0.something to 8.5.1 on CentOS 6 latest update. Ran the integrity check, no errors at update.
Only happening on one account. Looking at their email, they did receive a single email after the update then the error and nothing.

Even with 8.0.7 connector?
I know there were some weird searching issues with Outlook 2013 and the early 8 connectors. Saying that, never had issues with the connector on 2010.

There was an easier way, remove outlook from the windows indexing option in control panel. Worked fine after that.
Alternatively it is fixed in the 8.0.5 connector which can be downloaded from the support portal. 8.0.5 itself is apparantly getting released quite soon.

When outlook deletes a message it still retains a copy of it in the pst/zdb file until you compact it.
Open up the account through File --> Account Settings --> Zimbra account, ZDB Configuration tab and Compact ZDB. For a file that large it'll take a looong time!
