Restore a backup Zimbra Server for testing?
I'm not familiar with dnsmasq. Does it isolate the clone from communicating with external network, especially the production Zimbra?
dnsmasq pretends to be a dns server. You install it on the zimbra server and point the zimbra server at it to use as the resolv...

Restore a backup Zimbra Server for testing?
Sound like this is not going to be as simple as duplicating other servers for testing.
If you take the approach of not making any changes to the zimbra configuration at all and deal with it at the DNS & hostname level it is a piece of cake. Install dnsmasq...

Restore a backup Zimbra Server for testing?
Oooooo. One I can answer. The important thing is that the fqdn on the server resolves to the correct place or some of the things you do on the test server will be applied to the production server across the network. Zimbra uses dns lookups rather than checking /etc/hosts in a number of places, so yo...

More spam on the Gallery & Forum Proflies
The were there the day I sent the report, which is about month after I flagged them. They are no longer there so someone got to them.

More spam on the Gallery & Forum Proflies
Seriously is anyone even looking at stuff flagged as Spam? There's stuff in the Blackberry forum I flagged over a month ago that's still there. Why would we bother even putting the time in when it appears nobody within Telligent seems to care?

Too many root connection on ssh with fake passwords
We've seen a surge in ssh attacks in the last couple of weeks. One good protection is a *strong* root password. You can hide it behind a firewall or vpn, or obfuscate it by changing the port, but there is nothing wrong with just setting a good password, or better still configuring ssh to disallow ro...

Mail rejected, reverse dns failed?
You've not given us much to go on, which does not bode well for you understanding what I'm about to say. It sounds very much like you are sending from an IP address that does not have a valid reverse dns entry. Most sane mail servers will reject mail where the inbound connection is coming from an ad...

ZCS 8.5 - Known Issues Wiki
Apologies, it covers #95356 (ActiveSync issues with the BlackBerry devices and few Android devices, post upgrade to v8.5.) but fails to mention the same issue comes up on iOS.

ZCS 8.5 - Known Issues Wiki
Neat-o. Does not cover _any_ of the horrific issues with EWS if you use a Mac, and the incredible bug that a (not insignificant) proportion of your ActiveSync registered devices will completely stop syncing until they are total re-provisioned. Don't _ever_ upgrade to 8.5.0 unless someone is pointing...

JEERS
I tried really hard to be positive about the change, but _ugh_. Slow to load, very little information on a screen, have to scroll for miles, popups... A *like* button?!? Really ? This feels like Zimbra trying to cater for the lowest common denominator, not those who actually use the product and are ...
