Re: Migrate ZCS from CentOS6 to CentOS8

Thanks for the info. I'm not an 'avid Linux user', I just dabble with it here and there and use it for things like Zimbra 'as needed', so I generally don't follow all of the news related to it, and missed the EOL on CentOS 8. I've already started with the rsync, and and what I did was rsynced the da...

Re: Migrate ZCS from CentOS6 to CentOS8

No, I hadn't noticed that, but after looking into it, it's strange that the newest version is EOL this year but CentOS 7 has three more years. Guess I'll revise my plan to going to CentOS 7, which negates the need for my question as the packages for both CentOS 6 & 7 are the same build.

Migrate ZCS from CentOS6 to CentOS8

I'm working through the article here on migrating Zimbra to a new server, but the problem is, I'm going from CentOS 6 to CentOS 8. The version I'm running on CentOS6 is zcs-8.8.15_GA_3869.RHEL6_64.20190918004220, but the problem is, the only version I can find available for CentOS8 is zcs-8.8.15_GA_...

Zimbra Open Source vs Zimbra Suite Plus

Best I can tell, it appears to me that 'Zimbra Suite Plus' is essentially Zimbra Open Source with ZExtras already part of it, whereas ZExtras can be installed on Open Source Edition. So assuming that's the case, what's the difference between Zimbra Open Source Edition with ZExtras and Zimbra Suite P...

Importing mail from Exchange 2013 to Zimbra ZCS 8.0.7

Unfortunately, I have Open Source edition, so I don't think that option is available to me - unless I'm missing something.

Importing mail from Exchange 2013 to Zimbra ZCS 8.0.7

I found the version of tool you recommended by downloading 8.0.0, extracting it all and searching for the zips. Unfortunately, the results are the same. The import works, but the format is all messed up. Same results with this version when trying to import direct from the exchange server. The exact ...

Importing mail from Exchange 2013 to Zimbra ZCS 8.0.7

I have finally moved over to my ZCS server for e-mail and want to retire my Exchange server. Mail is flowing into and out of it just fine - the problem I'm having is importing all my old mail from Exchange. I've found the new and depreciated tools in Zimbra and tried them all. The 'Zimbra Migration'...
