Hi!
I've exported the root certificate with:
openssl x509 -in /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/ca/ca.pem -outform DER -out ca.der
Installed in the trusetd root store, and the warning message is gone away.

ZCS and Self issued certificate
Hi! I'm using an old ZCS 6. I'm migrating it to a newer version but it take time... I'm trying to implement SSL/TLS on imap and smtp connections on the current system, so i've issued a new certificate (with wildcard *.domain.com) via the admin web console. I've installed the certificate in the Trust...

Zimbra 7.1.4 - zmlocalconfig vs postconf
Was a simple one. zmconfigd service was not running (never noticed in the control panel), then i've looked in the logs in /opt/zimbra/log/zmconfigd.log and found an error in a config file. Fixed it, found a way to apply the mods via zmlocalconfig (and not postconf), and now all is working as it shou...

Zimbra 7.1.4 - zmlocalconfig vs postconf
Hi! I'm new to zimbra, and i've still not fully understood what connection there is between zmlocalconfig and postconf. As now i've understood that zimbra uses postfix as smtp. I'm not supposed to use postconf as zimbra will compile the postfix configration files with values set via zmlocalconfig? A...

Force sender same as authentication
It's already disable everywhere.... In any case i mean to lock the "mail from" to the same as the AUTH LOGIN... If i've well understood the "Allow sending email from any address" works only via webmail. Also this: RestrictPostfixSenders - Zimbra :: Wiki soesn't apply as it allow ...
the answer to this is to implement strong password, look in the Admin UI for the settings you can enforce for passwords.
It's planned to connect zimbra to active directory/ldap and enable single logon and strong password, but for now i've only disabled th...
