Problem solved. Upgrade to 8.8.6 fixed the issue. Not sure what happened, but fixed during the upgrade process.

Does It occur to all the accounts or just to some of them. Check the /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log for some JAVA exceptions and some mailbox locks (not account locks).
