Re: Caution With Unattended Upgrades
I also think that whenever they put an updated package into the apt repositories, there should be a corresponding note added to this page to tell us about it, and let us know if we will need to restart the server or restart services or apply some other patch manually first. https://www.zimbra.com/do...

Re: Caution With Unattended Upgrades
Thank you so much for these notes. I did a manual update without paying much attention, and included Zimbra upgrades that ran into problems. In addition to the issues you outlined above, I don't think their Ubuntu packages restart the services nor request a computer restart the way packages in the U...

Re: Current install is the same as patch version
The text changed on the website for P4, but the download and SHA256 file are still P3. (I kept a copy when I installed P3 and compared the filename and SHA hash when I noticed the filename had not changed.) I am a network user, and have reported it. It is supposed to be fixed soon. That is for 8.7.1...

Re: Are there any additional options for spam prevention?
Thanks. I looked at Clamav Unofficial Sigs upstream:
https://github.com/extremeshok/clamav-unofficial-sigs
Looks it has open bugs/issues and has not seen any activity in a long time. Is this an active project?

Re: Are there any additional options for spam prevention?
I have a bunch of custom rules in spamassassin's local.cf, but have to update every other week or so. (currently: /opt/zimbra/data/spamassassin/localrules/salocal.cf - but make sure you back up regularly, since an upgrade can wipe it.) Most of the ones I see sneak thru are either: 1. compromised fre...

Re: Cal items not syncing to Apple Calendar
I was able to clean up individual calendars, but when sharing more than 2 or 3 functioning calendars, it would cause Calendar.app on macOS to fail. Tested with both Sierra and High Sierra.
Have switched users to BusyCal on macOS, and so far no issues.

Re: Problems with CalDav x Mac OS Sierra 10.12 - Zimbra 8.6.0
I have started seeing more errors syncing MacOS Calendar app with Zimbra. For single users, I was able to fix by exporting the users calendar, deleting all events, then importing the backup. However, I can consistently get MacOS Calendar app to fail by adding three or more shared calendars, even if ...

Re: Cal items not syncing to Apple Calendar
I am having problems again with some users on MacOS High Sierra. The calendar is not sycing to iCal on their mac, or only partially syncing. This has happened with primary calendars, and with shared calendars. Outlook and the web interface is fine. If I: 1) backup the calendar from the web interface...
