Repositories 8.8.8 & Zimbra Talk / Chat
Running network edition, just upgraded to 8.8.8 from 8.8.7 and installed Zimbra Talk. Now when I run yum update, the system tries to replace Zimbra Talk with Zimbra Chat from the zimbra-888-patch repository. When I run yum update again, it tries to replace Zimbra Chat with Zimbra Talk [root@zcs ~]# ...

Thank goodness I looked at this forum as it looks like I've dodged a bullet! I was planning to upgrade from 8.7.11 to 8.8.6 this weekend but I think I'll wait until they get this sorted as rebooting a production server every day or two just to keep it running is not acceptable. Can I ask if this pro...

I agree with you slflone, I think Zimbra Talk was released too fast. It has the potential to be very good but it is still very buggy - particularly when it is commercial software and we're being asked to pay more for it.

User Login Failed?
I've just installed the trial of Zimbra talk. I can see the Zimbra Talk Zimlet however I keep getting an error popup on the web client that says: <servername> says: Zimbra user login failed. Please re-login. Chrome debug says: https://<servername>/VNCMiddleware/rest/appPrefs/user/vnctalk/settings::x...
