Questions on Chat module

Hi, I had replied my query on a post but thought that I had to create my own thread. I'm testing 8.8.12 OSE version: Release 8.8.12.GA.3794.UBUNTU16.64 UBUNTU16_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.12_P1 proxy ⋅ I would just like to ask how long is the retention of the chat history? ⋅ I ha...

Re: Zimbra 8.8.8 folder 'Chat' & delete Chat History

I have the same problem: The old history chats are disappeared (not such a big problem, luckily I saved the info needed) The new chat can't be deleted : I don't like it, I want to delete if I shared personal info (password, amounts and so on) by chat. I would just like to ask how long is the retent...

Re: Fresh Zimbra install is an open relay

Have you checked ZimbraMtaMyNetworks? It should provide you with knowledge of how to configure which network or host will be allowed to send. I have found this since version 8.0.

Re: Zimbra for Ubuntu 18.04 ?

@ppearl, what file would that be? Is it in the installer or the inside /opt/zimbra? When I was installing, the error came up that logger failed so it was not configured. The fix is to escape that opening brace that perl is complaining about. diff --git a/src/libexec/zmsyslogsetup b/src/libexec/zmsys...

Re: Zimbra for Ubuntu 18.04 ?

Any update on this? I've tried to setup from scratch but is getting the same syslog error. Has the installer been updated? I've downloaded last April 2. I've found similar post regarding the same error with perhaps a workaround which I have not tried: https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&...

Re: Multiple Domain should route to different mail provider

Hi community, Just a bump-up. Luckily just a test server. I'm still unable to have domain2.com use mailprovider2.domain2.com. It is still using the mailprovider1.domain1.com (configured in GUI -- Relay MTA for External Delivery). If I decide not to put anything on it, even domain1 (along with domain...

Re: Multiple Domain should route to different mail provider

Hello @santec, Still no good. User1@domain2.com is still using MailProvider1 instead of MailProvider2. BTW, I recreated from the snapshot and zmprov ms `zmhostname` zimbraMtaTransportMaps "lmdb:/opt/zimbra/common/conf/bysender,proxy:ldap:/opt/zimbra/conf/ldap-transport.cf is not run. Do I need ...

Re: Multiple Domain should route to different mail provider

Hi @santec, Yeah, I think that is what I'm missing. Have not remembered entering a value for zimbraMtaSmtpSaslPasswordMaps. I was pretty sure I am forgetting something relating to relay_password...similar to sender_dependent_relayhost_maps. Too early to celebrate though, have something to attend to ...

Re: Multiple Domain should route to different mail provider

Hi ccelis5215 , Thanks for the response. I did follow that to no avail. My previous test about 2 years ago, it was fine (well, didn't check the message header that time), did the same steps now but couldn't make it to work. Below summarizes what I did: In GUI => Configure => Servers => MyServer.emai...
