I need to move a mail server for 24 hours ( due to planned power outage)
It will be getting a different IP, so is it easier/better to change the hostname or the ptr record ?

I have solved the query. It must be exactly the same install as the previous install,
ie. if no dnscache, then no dnscache on the migration.

sadly I do not have that folder/file. Thank you for
the suggestion. I was able to confirm the version, I think by digging through
the ldap "stuff" in trying to fix another issue.
