Re: Automated OS package updates may break spellcheck (<=10.0.7 [FOSS?])

This is a major flaw in this build. Does anyone have working tested steps to fix?
Can you reference the other thread here?

Quite telling that a collaboration/messaging company can't fix a major collaboration/messaging problem for a significant period of time..

Can I move CentOS7-8.8.15 to Ubuntu20.04-10.0.6?

Hi, I have several very old installs of Zimbra on CentOS7 VMs that have been ticking along since the dawn of time. They're running fine on the latest p45. We've since moved the rest of our infrastructure to Ubuntu 22.04 and with the impending doomsday of 8.8.15 I'd like to move to Daffodil FOSS runn...

Re: BLOCK TLD

No way to do that? An internet search would have found this: https://www.davidmartinwhite.com/2016/10/25/fighting-spam-block-entire-ttld-with-postfix/ I haven't tried it and I don't know whether it does, or does not, work with Zimbra and I take no responsibility if you use it and it eats all of you...

Re: BLOCK TLD

This should absolutely be in the wiki. There is colossal amounts of spam coming from TLDs like .icu that can often be safely blocked. Zimbra's antispam is well behind the times and is minimally effective these days.

All the best,

If you look up a couple of posts @msquadrat raised a bug, which has been resolutely ignored since..

Re: 8.7.11 -> 8.8.5 upgrade problem

And during my 'real' upgrade (previous attempt was on a throwaway replica), I'm getting similar duplicate jar but for more recent version: /opt/zimbra/lib/ext/com_zimbra_ssdb_ephemeral_store]# ls -l total 720 -r--r--r--. 1 root root 111969 Nov 30 10:29 commons-pool2-2.4.2.jar -r--r--r--. 1 root root...

Re: 8.7.11 -> 8.8.5 upgrade problem

I think I've seen a similar issue while hacking on Zimbra but can't remember the exact root cause. There should be some more helpful information in mailbox.log though. There should first be an INFO log message "Servlet X starting up" (I'd like to know the X) later followed by a FATAL erro...

Re: 8.7.11 -> 8.8.5 upgrade problem

Hello siliconalchemy, Might be that you are hitting the bug https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=108299 ? What happens if you try to open the web client using the port https://IP:8443? Which is jetty, also, are you trying a valid virtual host? If not, please add it to the Admin console or by...

Re: 8.7.11 -> 8.8.5 upgrade problem

This comment isn't going to be of much help I'm afraid but I've been complaining long and hard about the lack of interaction from Zimbra (the company) on these forums and I wouldn't expect anything to change any time soon. The lack of interaction of the company with the Community Forums just shows ...
