Hi, thanks both for your replies. So, if one can not in-place upgrade the OS, Ubuntu main advantage does not apply.

Any information about RHEL/CentOS 8? Do you know if support for these OS is coming?

Hi, thanks for your reply. The current installation is relatively large (over 200 GB) and I am not sure it would be faster/simpler with zextrabackup rather than via rsync.

Well, after some tests, I can reply myself and share tha reply with the community. A "yum update" on, say, Zimbra Community 8.8.8 brings it to the latest patch level , while a full "install.sh" is needed to upgrade to, say, 8.8.12. Maybe this is common knowledge, but I feel as sh...

Hi all, I just inherited a old single-server Zimbra 8.0.6 installation running on 64-bit CentOS 6.5. Being both the OS and Zimbra so old, I plan to update at the next maintenance window.
