Problem installing on Ubuntu

[quote user="snuffelt"] The Zimbra install scripts use 'source'. Newer versions of Ubuntu (I think Edgy was the first) use 'dash' as the shell which doesn't have 'source'.Change to using 'bash' and run install.sh and things should work:sudo rm /bin/sh su...

Unified Messaging System

Set asterisk up to forward your vm as an email to you.
That's the only current integration (but, you know, we are open source, and so is asterisk :) If the com_zimbra_asteriskvm zimlet is still around, that's a start at vm integration.

Secure URL

If you want https only access, search the docs for the zmtlsctl command, which will do exactly that.

Backup directory deleted during upgrade!

This is all over the docs and the forums. Previous backup versions aren't valid under new zimbra versions, so we MOVE them out of the way so that subsequent 4.5 backups don't break. Look under your backup directory, I think they go into backup/4.5/4.0.5

Zimbra on dual processor

Zimbra is several processes, not one, so it will automatically take advantage of multiple processors across the various different running processes. (If you're just running one thing, say slapd, then that may not hit the second processor, but that's not a common deployment.)

Download the network trial and try it out in your environment is the only real way to answer your question.

Junk box

zmtrainsa doesn't clean out your user's junk folder, that's done by the zmpurgemessages script, and it does so based on the junk mail lifetime setting.Default lifetime is 30 days - is there junk older than 30 days in your user's folder?Does the zmpurgemessages run, and does it run wi...
