Re: enable smtp authentification

So what? A mail server is supposed to receive email and any restrictions on that will stop any legitimate mail from getting through. What you need to do is review some of the techniques for improving your ant-spam system (or use Rspamd), disallow unlisted recipients from being sent mail and any of ...

Re: enable smtp authentification

Authentication is already enabled on port 587 which is the correct Submission port. Using port 25 with authentication means that nobody will be able to send you mail without authenticating and that's not really what you want, is it?

Re: Zimbra 9 now available - in case anyone missed the blog post

I realise that the community should contribute more to Zimbra as well. That would come if Synacor actually bothered to get involved in the Community forums. You can't stand on the sidelines and say we want your contributions if you're not interested in the forums, developers need a reason to get in...

It looks like it's not going to happen, IMO. For further information you should keep an eye on these posts: https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=68073

The answer to that would be, no. I'd suggest you search around the forums a bit to see what's happening to Zimbra OSS builds.

The only supported builds are the ones on the download page, use anything else and you're on your own.

Re: Zimbra 9 now available - in case anyone missed the blog post

You can get the Zimbra 9 version here: http://www.beezim.fr/pages/zimbra-9-oss/ As far as the Synacor statement goes it seems, to me, that it's just confirming they have no interest in providing builds for Zimbra nor having any interaction with the Community on these forums which gets them what they...

Re: May 2020 Zeta Alliance Weekly Call Summaries

My questions to that comment is why is there 'political pressure' and what are they frightened of? From what has been shared to-date, I believe it originates from compliance concerns since Synacor is a publicly traded company. They may be worried about an employee accidentally disclosing some bit o...
