Re: Zimbra 8.7 autodiscover

Do you use a public SSL certificate? Or a self-signed one? What device type are you testing with? I am petty sure autodiscovery will not succeed with a self-signed certificate. Are you seeing requests to Apache for Autodiscovery? If the requests are seen and handled - then either your configuration ...

Re: PHP Soap -> SearchRequest -> Appointment Problem

You should open new threads rather than revive old ones. The original relates to zimbra 5.0 which I am sure you are not using. To answer your question - the best way to figure out how to build a query is to use the web client. Open the web client, click across to the Calendar tab, Press F12 or whate...

Re: Migration after recovery

Ubuntu 16.04 support for zimbra 8.7 is still labelled as BETA on the downloads page as this time so for production a better/safer option would be to rebuild the Ubuntu server to 14.04 and install the same 8.6 version back on it, and follow the wiki for the steps to install/rsync/upgrade/etc to get e...

Re: message time

Can you give an example. Use the viewer pane/message list view and show the same message in the list and the pane.

What timezone(s) are configured on your server and in the user's preferences?

Re: email message source ip

Before Bill asks, can you please post the output of "zmcontrol -v"

Can you explain a bit better. Is it an internal email going out that is causing the problem or an external email that is trying to come in?

How do you know about the failures? What errors have you seen?

Re: reject_non_fqdn_helo_hostname not working

I believe you should be running postconf -v to list the current settings.

Also, make sure you are logged in as zimbra when running the command, otherwise, you might be listing the configuration of the default postfix installation on your distribution rather than the zimbra configuration.

Re: reject_non_fqdn_helo_hostname not working

This message warning: /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.11.1.2z/conf/main.cf, line 50: suggests you have that restriction listed twice in your main.cf file. Can you check line 50, and see what is configured on that line - then check back up the file for a duplicate setting of that option. If you confirm that it...

Re: 8.6 > 8.7 upgrade massive fail, maibox wont start URGENT

For this command zimbra@mail:~$ ./libexec/zmproxyconfig -e -w -o -a 8080:80:8443:443 -x <https/both> -H `zmhostname` -su: https/both: No such file or directory you need to specify either https or both and remove the angle brackets <> so for both http and https it would be ./libexec/zmproxyconfig -e ...

Re: "Customizing logo in zimbra open source edition"

Those steps will not give you *.png files in the directory. They will only tell zimbra where to look and what file name to look for. It is up to you to create the directory, create the logo files, and to put them into that directory, ensuring that the zimbra user has appropriate rights to read and d...
