Compose Email Window Hidden (Vote for this Bug 107801)

Hello, The Bug... "When composing an email, the email window will be hidden behind the main Zimbra Browser Window, whenever Zimbra does a mail (or screen) refresh." I reported this bug back in March on version 8.7.5. It has not yet been fixed in all the point releases since then. I'm hopin...

Compose Email Window Hidden by Main Zimbra Window

Hello,
We have just upgraded to 8.7.5. When composing an email, the email window will be hidden behind the main Zimbra Browser Window, whenever Zimbra does a refresh.

Zimbra 8.7.5
Windows 7 x64
Internet Explorer 11

Has anyone else run into this?

Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Findings: Upgrade 8.0.7 to 8.7.n (Centos 6.5)

Hi Cyber7, Thanks for sharing your efforts at upgrading. I would like to do the same. I'm in the process of researching my upgrade from 8.6 to 8.7.1 on Ubuntu 16.04. I've been advised that Zextras Migration tool will make this much easier. So I've been reading their documentation as well. Their advi...

Greylisting Thoughts?

Hi Everyone, I'm thinking of implementing Greylisting as part of our anti-spam tools. I know there is a lot of opinions on the value and safety of turning on Greylisting. I'm just wondering if people on here think it's a good idea? My main concern is services like Google Mail and other big providers...

Re: 8.7 install on Ubuntu 16.04 asking for hosts file

Hi Bill,

You are correct. I was thinking it was a syntax issue. Since this is just testing of the new version, I just deleted the duplicate entries.

Thanks,
Daniel

8.7 install on Ubuntu 16.04 asking for hosts file

Hello, Upon starting install.sh it immediately asks me to edit the /etc/hosts file. Error message.... ERROR: Installation can not proceed. Please fix your /etc/hosts file to contain: <ip> <FQHN> <HN> Where <IP> is the ip address of the host, <FQHN> is the FULLY QUALIFIED host name, and <HN> is the (...

Re: Upgrade Zimbra and Ubuntu

Hi Bill,

It shouldn't be too difficult to integrate Message Sniffer again. As I recall it was only two Spam Assassin Rules that needed updating.

In the mean time I will start reading up on the Zextras Migration Tool Wiki.

Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Upgrade Zimbra and Ubuntu

Hi Phoenix, Thank you for the quick reply. ZeXtras looks amazing! One quick question. I also have Message Sniffer http://www.messagesniffer.com/Products/SNFforNix.jsp installed on my current server. It required me to modify some spam assassin rules to work with Zimbra. Will ZeXtras pull those rules ...

Upgrade Zimbra and Ubuntu

Hello, We are currently using Zimbra 8.6 on Ubuntu 14.04. I would like to upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04 and Zimbra 8.7.1. I'm thinking the easiest approach would be to create a new Virtual Machine and install both from scratch and then import our current Zimbra Data. Does this sound like a viable approach...
