Re: Revised 9.0p6 & 8.8.15p13

It's due to a regression that was introduced. This post has the details: https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=68705 Appreciate the details. I (perhaps rudely) assumed it'd come out in the weekly community call, but I thought I'd ask anyway. While I'm here, thanks for providing the call...

Re: What Zimbra version?

Does this mean, that since my zimbra version is not paid NE, I cannot setup my email to any android devices, and also, to PC's at home or outside our office? No, it just means you can't use Activesync, EWS or the Outlook MAPI connector. You can use POP3/SMTP/IMAP/CardDAV/CalDAV for any other client...

Re: Revised 9.0p6 & 8.8.15p13

I noticed Zimbra snuck out revisions for the latest set of patches. Anyone know why? It wasn't 'snuck out, it was actually released on the 27th August and' it's in the Zimbra Blog and wiki: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases https://blog.zimbra.com/ I didn't say they snuck out the patches...

Re: Handling emails with dots

How can you say its not a good idea. As you now in gmail if you take an account without dots, all combination of account with dots will be yours. Just because google does it doesn't mean it's a good idea. Its really a big requirement. For whom? If you are intent on replicating gmails odd rules left...

Re: Upgrade 8.8.7 to 8.8.15, still old packages in dpkg -l

This is from a clean install of 8.8.15 upgraded to 9.0-ne. I don't think you have anything to worry about. $dpkg -l zimbra-* | grep -i 8.7 ii zimbra-altermime 0.3.20100505-1zimbra8.7b1.18.04 amd64 altermime Binaries ii zimbra-amavis-logwatch 1.51.03-1zimbra8.7b1.18.04 amd64 amavis-logwatch Binaries ...

Re: help needed with ipad/iphone zimbra certificate

Is the certificate you are deploying a chained cert with the CA in there also? I have no issues installing a CA on the ipad, then installing the cert that was signed by the CA. I don't use certificates created by Zimbra so I don't know how the are structured. I generate self-signed certs for a few s...

Re: IMAP not working after upgrade to 9.0 OSS

Hello, I recently have the same problem with upgrade from 8.6 to 8.8.15. The solution was to remove the imap account and add it again. Regards, That was the first test I did. Did not solve the issue. I think I found a solution but not for port 993. I have to use 7993 instead for imaps and that seem...

Re: IMAP not working after upgrade to 9.0 OSS

This is what I see when doing netstat -an | grep 993 tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7993 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN sudo netstat -anp | grep 993 tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7993 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 2867/java tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:993 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 3136/nginx.conf Looks like you are missing something.

Re: .zdb file size limit in Outlook with ZCO; any workarounds?

I'm looking to see if I can automate moving older messages into a secondary account. The idea would be that messages older than a year are put into a second account on the server and are only accessed through webmail. I'm seeing that messages can be copied into a different account but I haven't yet...
