Zimbra Collaboration 8.6 Patch 3 is here
As with the two previous patches, the patch crashes on my server. Fortunately, it seems to die before any partial update is performed. Are there any plans to look into this? ./installPatch.sh: line 35: 11596 Segmentation fault (core dumped) perl bin/zmpatch.pl --config conf/zmpatch.xml --verbos...

Zimbra Collaboration 8.6 Patch 2 is here
I have the core dump at hand and I'd love to send it to you. However, I have been searching and searching again on your profile page for ten straight minutes, looking for an option to PM you but I couldn't find it. And you don't appear on the possible recipients when I try to create a new PM, so I h...

Sending automatic abuse complaints
Hi everyone! I'm just dropping by to share a little script I wrote a couple of days ago. I've noticed a huge increase in open relay scanning, and although Zimbra users aren't vulnerable, I thought this was a good opportunity to annoy spammers. Suspicious entries in the daily log look like this:messa...

The exploit was advertised as a 0day, and I took the author's word for it.
I feel silly now, sorry about this!

If anybody's interested, I've analyzed the bug and developed an independent fix for it. I've posted everything on my blog, which sadly is in French. I haven't taken the time to translate all this, but if some users or people working on Zimbra want to know more about what I did, just get in touch wit...

debian 6 squeeze
For what it's worth, I'm running the latest Zimbra on a Debian 6 server and it works like a charm. I don't think I even had to downgrade dpkg during the installation. If you really want Zimbra and Debian 6, how about trying it out ? You'll see how it goes. Waiting for an official announcement could ...
