[SOLVED] Zimbra Desktop Ate My Mail
So are you using IMAP to access mail in ZCS server, but want to transition to use Zimbra sync with ZCS? Did you mean that the IMAP side "ate" the data since your ZCS access using Zimbra sync hasn't yet been setup?

OK, you are importing ZD-exported files into ZCS server mailbox, which is not supported. ZD has some local-only folders, including "Outbox", "Error Reports" and "Local Folders". By importing an ZD-exported file, you created these folders on the server and also making th...

That is very strange. Anything special about these 3 folders? How were they created? For example, did you create ""Lokale Ordner" manually in ZCS server mailbox? Was your ZD 1593 a brand new install or upgrade from a previous version?

Which version of ZD are you running? The log shows some charset issues. Are you running on an en-US system or something else?

Hi, right now we only provide folder mapping for well known services. For generic IMAP service what you saw is expected. There is no short term solution to this until we fix this bug: Bug 23727 – offline: need UI design for mapping IMAP folders to system folders
