How to install policyd

There seem to be some differences in the installation and configuration procedure as described in the Wiki at Improving Anti-spam system - Zimbra :: Wiki, the postfix-policyd wiki, Postfix Policyd - Zimbra :: Wiki, and the INSTALL instructions that came with the policyd v2 tarball. v2 looks like it ...

SPAM being relayed through server using zmpost

I hate to be a pest, but should I open a new thread to find out how to install and configure policyd? The INSTALL instructions in the tarball (called cluebringer) do not match the instructions in the wiki.
Thanks!

SPAM being relayed through server using zmpost

Yes, we are making some of those changes, (the DNS records to implement SPF, stronger passwords, etc.) But with respect to policyd, there seems to be some differences in the installation and configuration procedure as described in the Wiki at Improving Anti-spam system - Zimbra :: Wiki, the postfix-...

SPAM being relayed through server using zmpost

I have inherited this system, and several things have been partially installed: razor2, pyzor, SPF, and now I am trying to install policyd. Some of the threads and wiki's I have found talk about testing with spamassassin from the command line. For the life of me, I cannot find spamassassin anywhere ...

SPAM being relayed through server using zmpost

Thanks Raj,
We were already looking into policyd.

I think limiting the number of messages is a good start.

We will also change the user password characteristics requirements.

SPAM being relayed through server using zmpost

I found a few threads that contained similar zimbra.log messages, but no answers. How are they connecting, and what method are they using to send thousands of SPAM messages outbound? Is there a way to block this? May 26 15:23:48 myhost saslauthd[25313]: zmpost: url='https://myserver.com:7071/service...

[SOLVED] Migrate from postfix/Maildir/OpenBSD to Zimbra 5.0.21/CentOS5 - no passwords

The --authuser2 is working. I had just not specified the correct admin account.
Very cool.
Cutover is tonight.
Thanks again!

[SOLVED] Migrate from postfix/Maildir/OpenBSD to Zimbra 5.0.21/CentOS5 - no passwords

[SOLVED] Migrate from postfix/Maildir/OpenBSD to Zimbra 5.0.21/CentOS5 - no passwords

You mentioned: You can create an admin account in Zimbra to do the same thing there. How does MasterUser/Password work on the Zimbra side? Many of the user passwords have been changed on the Zimbra side, and I want to re-sync the email one more time before the cut-over. But I am getting the followin...

[SOLVED] Migrate from postfix/Maildir/OpenBSD to Zimbra 5.0.21/CentOS5 - no passwords

I removed the line:
pass = yes
from the dovecot.conf file, and now it is working as advertised.
The description in the Authentication/MasterUsers - Dovecot Wiki

wasn't very clear, but since it was mentioned, it was worth a try.
