Re: MTA-STS email security

Many thanks for the explanation and this made me think about few issues … computers never lie ! Actually my Zimbra server runs behind a reverse proxy and has its own self-signed certificate. While the reverse proxy server hosts the mta-sts.txt file (as well as z-push) with its own Letsencrypt certif...

Re: MTA-STS email security

You are right, sorry for not being precise. The SSL checker online says this (do you need to see more details from the certificate?) Common Name = www.mydomain.it Subject Alternative Names = autodiscover.mydomain.it, mail.mydomain.it, mta-sts.mydomain.it, www.mydomain.it the policy file can be queri...

Re: MTA-STS email security

I have been watching all the Zimbra seminars on email security and MTA-STS and found them a great help, thanks a million for taking the time to make them. One configuration though that I have not been able to sort for the MTA-STS, I have religiously followed the setup steps(I think) by creating the ...

Re: Installing Zimbra the right way? (not being blacklisted)

In my experience if I don’t ask my provider to setup the reverse DNS pointing to my domain, all my sent emails go to spam (unless I use an authenticated SMTP service).
For multiple domains I don’t know if the reverse DNS can be created.

Re: RIP - CentOS

But If I read the Centos Stream announcement I understand that Centos will remain as opensource Linux OS ... or not ? Seems that they are changing the product lifecycle and how they deploy the "versions" ... or is it becoming not really usable for production platforms? I really hope it is ...

ZCS 9 Patch Updates

Can anybody advise how would patching work If I install one of the ZCS9 builds mentioned here?
Would I be able to run a plain “yum update” when Synancor publishes patches for Zimbra 9?
Thanks everybody

Re: Setting up a web server to go along Zimbra

To achieve this in my environment I have done the following: I left the Zimbra installation "standard" including the ports (in my case the webmail responds to 8443 port). I tend to avoid manual editing of files. In front of the zimbra server I have created a separate VM with nginx hosting ...
