I just had this after applying the latest patch and issuing "zmcontrol restart" on my Ubuntu server.
Renaming all of the PID files to old and then restarting again fixed the issue and then I deleted all of the .old files.
Thanks for this solution.

zmdhparam: ERROR: no zimbraSSLDHParam in openssl
I am running an older server that has been upgraded a few times. It is fully patched with the following: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS Release 8.8.15.GA.3829.UBUNTU14.64 UBUNTU18_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.15_P21. I run this command as seen in this link: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/How_to_obtain_an_A%2B_in_th...

Enabling TLS 1.3, removing v1 and v1.1 and ensuring that only strong ciphers are used
I have been going through the process of enabling TLS 1.3 after updating to 8.8.15 Patch 20. At the same time, I am disabling TLSv1 and TLSv1.1 The documentation is here: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Enable_TLS1.3 I found that I also had to issue these commands: zmprov mcf -zimbraMailboxdSSLProtocol...

How can open source edition users report bugs to Zimbra?
It seems like every update and patch I have seen in the past couple of years has had severe problems found by users in this forum. Before I update to 8.8.15 Patch 20, I would like to know if there is a way to submit a bug report to Zimbra support without purchasing the Network Edition. I did see a Z...

Re: 8.8.15 Patch 15 - How to enable TLS v 1.3 support?
It looks like this is finally available as of 8.8.15 Patch 20. https://blog.zimbra.com/2021/04/zimbra-now-with-tls-support/ The blog post doesn't give any instructions on what needs to be done, if any, to ensure that it is enabled and any older versions of TLS are disabled. Anyone have any ideas on ...

Re: A Grafana Dashboard for Zimbra Collaboration
@jorgedlcruz
This is great.
Is there a way to get this data from Zabbix into Grafana, or do we need to install a stand alone script on the Zimbra server that then exports it to Grafana?
Thanks,
David

Re: What is your Backup Setup? For Open Source Edition
We run Zimbra as VMware VM guests and use Veeam Backup and Replication to backup the VM guests.
So it's a full image based backup. Restoring a granular level mailbox or message really isn't possible for us, but we can restore the whole server if we have to.

Re: Zimbra for Ubuntu 18.04 ?
For anyone who has this problem with huge disk growth after upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04, then this post has a clearer explanation and solution. https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=66275&p=300633#p290885 my /opt/zimbra/zmstat/zmstat.out grew 250GB in a couple of hours. It was full of...

Re: Bugfix: zmstat.out dramatically increasing in size with 'uninitialized' warnings for list variable
Oh my goodness, you are such a life saver. Thank you so much for posting this in the forum! I just upgraded a server 8.8.15 Patch 19 from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04 and then 18.04. All looked fine and I thought the upgrade was a success, then a couple of hours later, I got notifications that the disk spa...
