"Request Response" for calendar entries (change default?)
Hello all, I have a user who finds it very convenient to drag and drop e-mails to a specific date on the mini-calendar as a quick way of creating an appointment. What Zimbra does in that case is it puts the original sender as an invitee of that appointment, with "Request Responses" checked...

[SOLVED] Mass deletion from calendar
I forgot I made this post actually - but figured it out a couple weeks ago - but only for the standard/HTML and not the advanced/AJAX version. Once in the Standard version, click on the calendar tab, then click on Edit (above the calendar list on the left). There is a check box next to: "Perman...

Zimbra standard version & multiple calendars
Thanks Mike - the zmprov zimbraPrefAdvancedClientEnforceMinDisplay FALSE should work in this case for us.
I did throw a vote in for 23531 since it would be nice to see but if I can force this user to the ajax version, it should be fine in this case.

Zimbra standard version & multiple calendars
Hello all, All our users are using the Advanced/AJAX web client with a few exceptions. One of those users cannot use the advanced version due to their screen resolution being too low. My question is - I cannot seem to find out how to place an appointment on a different calendar than the user's own c...

Accessing mail via IMAP instead of pop3
I am almost positive that is not possible with IMAP. If that is what you want you should continue using POP (and I know of no security vulnerabilities that should stop you from doing so).

[SOLVED] Running sshd on non standard port, having problems changing it in Zimbra 5.0
Actually... thought of one thing you can do. You can change the IMAP/POP ports (though not the proxies that I can find) in the web admin (under configuration, server, double click on your domain). Change regular IMAP, POP (and their SSL counterparts) temporarily to different ports. Then run the comm...

Having proxying on won't fix the problem - it will then potentially be worse (since I don't know whether the proxy or the regular one of each of those will work). I would call this a bug in my opinion - Zimbra is complaining about ports being wrong - but not letting you change them because OTHER por...

[SOLVED] Question about zmmailbox and calendar shares
Hi Bdial,
Thanks for the response - that works (though the -F and # can't have a space between them).
Much appreciated.

Accessing mail via IMAP instead of pop3
If you enabled both POP & IMAP during installation you don't need to do much server side. Just check your Class of Service setups to make sure IMAP is enabled, and any firewall settings. As for IMAP - it works completely differently but in essence - IMAP shows the same folders to any client (web...

We're not using Proxying here so I left it at the default ports (shown below) without any problems.
