Thanks; that post looks like something one our vmware colleagues put together without reference to the actual product we released. I'll get that post updated as soon as possible.

You should be able to access the log even with the zimbra services down.

Can you be more specific? It sounds like you're interested in installing the appliance, and then customizing the platform; that's not really the best use of an appliance. If you are looking for total control of the OS, you should install the standard ZCS application on top of the OS of your choice. ...

That's the appliance admin console; it's a simplified version.

What all would you like to see in the console that you don't now? (Aside from what you've listed above)
