File that trick away for the future. It's really, really handy to watch batch files being interpreted line by line when things are going wrong. I only wish I could do the same thing for make.

The zimbra installation scripts use the system package manager to identify packages, and the check you quote above lives in util/modules/packages.sh which is a bash script. libreoffice and its 250M of dependencies on a Server ?
I notice inspecting util/utilfunc.sh that libreoffice is only a dep on Ubuntu. Is this some artifact of the beta build or is this likely to be a hard requirement going forward?

I posted the thread in Administrators because I don't believe the fault is with Zimbra Desktop but with the server.
