spams causing huge deferred email and slow performance
Our Zimbra server has been flooded with tens of thousands of spams, causing email delivery to be delayed up to 30 min and very slow Zimbra performance. Deleting of deferred email does not work and generate an error instead. Is there anyway I can delete email from the command line? I found these but ...

List users by COS
I don't think the latest ZCS 6.0.7 is set with this feature. And admin GUI option to get all users under a COS setting would be very useful. Thanks Mike for a solution there.;)
This look like a really useful feature. Is it available yet in the latest versio...

Logout immediately upon logging in?
On a particular Windows Terminal Server 2003 with IE8, users see this message upon logging in under Advanced Mode: "You will be signed out in 5 minutes. Save your changes now and sign in again." Under Standard Mode, they got logout immediately upon logging in. They can't even see the main ...

Zimbra Backup schedule and zmschedule usage
Pt 2 has been resolved. I need to quote the schedule for it to work: zmschedulebackup -R d 14d "0 0 * * *" Also, this will replace everything, not just delete in the 3rd line. So I will have to retype everything, even on those that I do not want to replace but to retain: zmschedulebackup -...

Zimbra Backup schedule and zmschedule usage
Our Zimbra backup had failed due to insufficient storage space. We have recover backup by renaming accounts.xml.old to accounts.xml. 1. Will Zimbra backup automatically purge this unsuccessful backup since it might not be indicated in the previous accounts.xml file? Or will cron be smart enough to p...

[SOLVED] problem with network edition backups
Just ran into this problem as well. Same version and worked well. I think the backup failed because the disk filled up and then it did not write the complete contents to the XML file. But renaming .old did the trick. Running full backup now...
I had the same issu...

Migration thru Zimbra Backup and Restore?
We have a Zimbra server having 500GB as it's primary message volume and mounted as messagevol, and 750GB as it's secondary message volume and mounted as hsmvol. Can we migrate this Zimbra into another new empty Zimbra server just by doing a full restore from the existing Zimbra build-in scheduled fu...

Zimbra Bind confusion
That would be a correct assumption. Aren't you the one putting the Zimbra server on a network with AD/DNS.
Ya. I was following the guide at: Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Server (Hardy Heron) Install Guide - Zimbra :: Wiki but that was quite a few years ago. I'm following the...
