Is it possible you have users who have subscribed to shared folders before you put these limits in place? The mailboxes of the owners of these shares could be on the other mailstores. So, your limiting of the proxy might be blocking the users from collecting the information about all of the folders ...

Check the Junk mail folder of address1@mydomain
