Re: Failed to start slapd after power failure with no error messages
That sounds like your LDAP database was corrupted due to the power outage. From your prompt I guess that you're running on Red Hat or CentOS. You might find further infos about a crashing slapd (if that's the case) in /var/log/messages.

Re: Weak ssh hmac forced by zimbra
Since AFAIK Zimbra stilluses the outdated Ganymed SSH library I don't think this is possible without a few changes and switching to a library like JSSH. If you're running a NE install, you should open a support case in the support portal with this question. That said, (I learned this from Zimbra sta...

Re: Saving of email as .eml file from Zimbra 8.7 email solution
You can use the REST API to export the mails in EML format, probably even store them directly in the ECM, maybe via a Zimlet. Your local VAR should be able to help you, just look here: https://www.zimbra.com/partners/resellers/

Re: other person appointments showing up at user's calendar?!
There is no such version as 8.7b1. Could you post the output of zmcontrol -v? I can only guess but maybe the affected user shared his calendar with somebody else with write rights and that user (or maybe his client) accidently put his appointment there. The mailbox.log could give you a clue on what ...

Re: change zimbra license at the login page
Even in the NE, if you want to get rid of that part you'll have to create a custom theme and set that one as the logon theme to do so.

Re: Zimbra Talk V2: How to debug WebRTC/TURN?
I didn't have any success yet either and still have Case 00712698 on that issue open. I found a few ways of debugging this issue though (which like in your case all point into the direction that everything *should* work but doesn't). I'll update this post when I've got a spare minute.

Re: ldap - unknown GAL op
I think this warning is normal due to some glitch. I see it on all systems I administer.
In your case it might be an issue in your old version of Zimbra though; you should update ASAP to at least 8.7.11.

I have filed [bug]108844[/bug] about this issue in the meantime.
The 100% CPU issue might be fixed if you upgrade to 8.8.8. 8.8.5 has some well known issues in that regard.

Re: Zimbra Talk V2: How to debug WebRTC/TURN?
Ok, using the stun command line client and the Trickle ICE testing service I was able to verify that at least my turn server was working as expected. I use the following turnserver.conf: external-ip=192.0.2.42 lt-cred-mech realm=zimbra.example cert=/opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.crt pk...

Zimbra Talk V2: How to debug WebRTC/TURN?
Hi folks, I put this here since I'm afraid that in the still existing Zimbra Talk forum nobody will see the post. I finally made Zimbra Talk V2 work on two of our test installations. The video chat works fine with people on the same network but breaks as soon as there's some NAT in between. The solu...
