Ok that worked and vendor.com is listed. When I issue the command to remove him I get this.

zmprov rdlm dist@company.com vendor@company.com

ERROR: account.NO_SUCH_MEMBER (non-existent members: vendor@company.com in distribution list: dist@company.com)

i completed all the steps. but it errored out on the ldap then I commented out the backup of ldap like you suggested and then I ran ./install.sh -s. And it worked

Thanks, I made it through the ./install.sh -s part. Do I simply zmcontrol start and everything should come up?

is is the utilfunc.sh? Also do you have the exact string to comment out. That is a pretty big file.
