Re: Down for maintenence, administrators see /opt/zimbra/status.txt
For the infected users, is it possible your exploit is related to the issue discussed here: https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?t=71693 ? Re: error displaying email messages
Probably the Zimbra server will be attacked - encrypted Zimbra data. Specifically msg files. Plus, if NG modules are backed up, so is the backup. Probably silly question, but are you absolutely sure the backups are corrupted also? I'd have thought the way the smartscan works it should miss what is ...

How is it this patch (and the corresponding v9) aren't listed on : https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Security_Center??
The release E-mail I received said : "We plan to make additional information available on our Security Center page as it becomes available."

Not a question as such. Could you put the favicon back? The Zimbra forum used to stand out in my tab list with it's bright, cheery Orange square with a white Z. It appears to have lost its sunny disposition.

Re: ZIMBRA DAFFODIL Anyone?
That's no different to Zimbra 9. Zimbra (Synacor) stopped providing binaries for the FOSS version after 8.8.15, so if you want a supported version of Zimbra you need to buy NE.fmaussion wrote:Interesting to see that a Network License will be required to use this new version

Re: Upgrade Concept Zimbra 8->10
And as I can see there are no NG ... functionalities in Zimbra 10 ... are there still user out there which are not using NG backup ? .... The real time aspects of the NG backup was one of the real advantages of the system. Back in 2012/3 we had an "incident" which resulted in a total corr...

Re: Zimbra 10 (Daffodil)
The Zextras tools (or the -ng extensions) enabled the commonly promoted "side by side" migration. I've spent a few hours having a look at v10 today and it appears it's back to the old clunky zimbra backup, which is not real time and only good for DR if you make frequent local copies of the...

Re: Zimbra 10 (Daffodil)
Interesting. At first glance it *looks* like Zimbra have written alternatives to all the ng modules and that complicates the upgrade process. There does not appear to be any supported method for upgrading a single server installation yet if using the ng modules. For unfounded speculation, I wonder i...
