Had that a few times and clearing /opt/zimbra/jetty/work/* solved it

We had that problem. Clearing /opt/zimbra/jetty/work/ fixed the issue Actually found a strange behaviour on a customer that can't print: everytime someone tries to print gets an emtpy page with "no result found" Multi-server infrastructure with two mailstores: Release 8.8.15.GA.3869.UBUNTU...

Check /opt/zimbra/log/mysql_error.log and /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log
Probably contain the errors you're dealing with.

The folder still exists on mailbox

Same here. Amazing how this isn't even tested.. but at the same time not a surprise when you already know how Zimbra team prioritize issues

I have this on one server too - old zcs 8.5.1

Can you confirm if this is your version too?
