Continous problems with fresh multi-server install
Hi, In a new environment I'm unable to install zimbra 8.8.12 and having working properly. The environment has 2 sites, with 1 store + 1 mta/proxy each (4 serves in total). Site 1, has the ldap master along the store. Site 2 has a ldap replica along its store server. Logger is deployed on store 1. Pr...

Re: No route to host

Re: Some clarifications about DoS Filter: block IPs after a number of failed login attempts
Hi, As far as I understand...and please understand that I might be wrong, this is how it goes: 1. Is this a fail2ban-like implementation? If not, how does it work? Does it involve iptables rules? --> No, it is not a fail2ban-like implementation. It works at an application level and it does not invol...

Re: SMIME: Import users certificate to contacts from signed email
Hi, The video you refer, does this: 1. userA sends signed email to userB (2:10) 2. userA imports userB public key manually (3:10) 3. userA sends encripted email to userB (3:30) As you can see there, they do it manually. What they should have show is userB sending and encrypted email to userA after r...

Re: Migrate 7.1.3 to 8.8.12 open source
Zextras would be the way to go if you ask me in terms of "best way to migrate".
Regarding that error, i wouldn't know. Did you try also asking in zextras forums?

Re: SMIME: Import users certificate to contacts from signed email
I don't use it, so is couldn't tell how it works for me, sorry.
What I do remember is that public key exchange being automatic, once you exchange signed mails. Reviewing the info, I found this where it says something about being automatic https://www.zimbra.com/email-server-sof ... ncryption/

Re: Is there not an easier way to import another users certificate into your address book to send encrypted email?
Hi, Unless I'm mistaken, Zimbra is supposed to import the public key to the user in the contact lists automatically. So maybe you need to create the contact so it automatically saves the public key? I remember just needing to exchange mails signed to have the public key from others and give my publi...

Re: Change helo name and banner
It is safe yes. Quite a few configurations migrated from local configs (zmlocalconfig) to ldap ones, and these are 2 of them. So you may want to check the "configuration guide" under Zimbra Documentation page, that will let you search the "old" attribute. The desc command let's y...
