Hello,
Which version of Linux is Best, Fedora Core 3 or Fedora Core 4... I am looking for a solution which is more stable.
I have tried Suse, but there were lot of customizations and fixes to be done.
Please suggest the best Server OS for Zimbra.
Also, My current configuration is
INTEL HT 2.80 GHZ
512 MB RAM
80GB HDD
Thanks

Well, I've had a lot of sucess with FC3.
But I'd argue FC4 is better. Much more hardware support & bug fixes

I'd suggest Redhat Enterprise linux 4 or the free version of that is CentOS (which I use). Depending on the number of users and how active they are you might also consider adding at least another 512Mb to your configuration.

I'd second the suggestion for CentOS 4. Fedora is great, but only if you don't mind going offline every 6-12 months to upgrade. CentOS, like RHEL, has at least a 5 year maintenance cycle.

ok Thank you for all the suggestions, As I will limited no. of users, I guess Fedora Core 4 would be the best choice, as John suggested.
I have 2 GB of RAM with me, So I may sacrifice 1 GB to the server
Thanks for all the suggestion.
