Hello Forum
we are running Release 8.7.7.GA.1787.UBUNTU14.64 UBUNTU14_64 FOSS edition currently on a single Amazon EC2 instance. We are experiencing some Errors in the WebUI, see Screenshot attached. We are getting this Error in the WebUI when trying to view emails every now and then (around once a day). We have around 25 people working with the zimbra in our office. We also installed zextras.
We found this thread viewtopic.php?t=60298 and tried to disable the DOS filter like so:
zimbra@mail:~$ zmprov mcf +zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs 1.2.3.4/32
But it did not help Some more info on the subject: https://wiki.zextras.com/wiki/ZeXtras_S ... _DoSFilter and https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/DoSFilter
The nginx log shows logs like these when the error occures:
1.2.3.4:55286 - - [10/May/2017:11:10:06 +0200] "POST /service/soap/BatchRequest HTTP/1.1" 502 1332 "https://mail.example.com/" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.81 Safari/537.36" ""

As the screenshot upload didn't seem to work out, here is the error message we get in the Browser (I translated it from german)

Hi DualBoot,
thanks for your reply As stated in my initial comment, that was the first thing we tried:
zimbra@mail:~$ zmprov mcf +zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs 1.2.3.4/32
zimbra@mail:~$ zmmailboxdctl restart
It didn't help though

zmprov mcf is not at server level.
It is global configuration. That is why you should try by using zmprov ms $(zmhostname) blabla and restart the mailboxd .
After restarting your mailboxd, look at /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log to check if all of your IP are whitelisted.

From the feeling of it "it got better", but we are still getting the same error message today every now and then.
