Migrating Zimbra - License Question.

Post by cyber7 »

I am in the process of migrating Zimbra from:
[*]Centos 6 to Centos 7
[*]Zimbra 8.07 to Zimbra 8.7.11

My question is regarding the license. I have setup the new machine and installed Zimbra, but used a 30-day license on the new server. I see that I only have access to 50 accounts on the new Server.

My question is, can I run 2 concurent servers with the same licenses until I am finished with my migration?

I wil bee using the ZEXTRAS migration tool...

Hi cyber7,
Why don't you open a ticket to support team if you are using NE version?
My answer is yes. You can set up a new server for migration and upgrade as well as DR. However, please note that you can only activated your license 5 times totally, if you need more you have to let support team know before processing.
Regards,
Minh.

Brent Rhymes should be your next contact, what you're saying is correct: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=267312
