Now that Zimbra 8.8 has drive, what happens with Briefcase? Is it still fully functional or is Drive a replacement, and if so is it easy to migrate Briefcase to Drive?
We finished a very long migration path from Exchange to Zimbra 8.6 in March and one of the biggest additions is the use of Briefcase, which we've documented and trained a lot of our users to take advantage of. Wouldn't want to lose the functionality or have to retrain on it, so hoping it's either implemented in it's entirety in 8.8 or we have the option to migrate and the functionality is very similar.
Thanks,
John

Re: Zimbra 8.8 Drive and Briefcase
Hello,
Zimbra Drive is a new feature which allow you to connect to external file sync and share technologies, for now ownCloud and Nextcloud, but in the future will be more, here you can find a Webinar around the whole 8.8, and it has some minutes about Drive and Briefcase: Zimbra Briefcase will remain part of the product for now, as it's included and works out of the box, if the funcionality is enough for you and your users, you can just disable the Zimbra Drive by COS and disable the Zimlet.
Best regards
