Installing Zimbra On a Local Machine.

Hello Guys Im kinda New to Zimbra. i have a client who wants me to install Zimbra mail server on a local machine to be able to send and receive emails.

How do i achieve this? Must i set up DNS servers?


PS: Am considering using either CentOS or Ubuntu server. KIndly also help to choose. am good at both.

I'd suggest you start by reading the Product Documentation and the Release Notes for the current version of ZCS, if you have specific questions after that then post them here.

Yes, if you're behind a firewall or on a private LAN.
