Hello everybody,
I did a fresh installation of Ubuntu Server 16.04 64bit.
After updating I uploaded zcs-8.8.6_GA_1906.UBUNTU16_64.20171130041047.tgz extracted it and started installation.
Installation aborting with following:
Use Zimbra's package repository [Y] y
Unescaped left brace in regex is deprecated, passed through in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/%{ <-- HERE (.*?)}/ at /usr/bin/print line 528.
Error: no such file ":Aborting, unknown platform: UBUNTU16"
I am new to Linux so please take this into consideration.
What can you suggest? Thanks in advance.
Aborting, unknown platform: UBUNTU16
Re: Aborting, unknown platform: UBUNTU16
I'm not a fan of Ubuntu, have (would) you considered using CentOS7?
Re: Aborting, unknown platform: UBUNTU16
Ugh, this sounds like a grave bug in the setup procedure; this is the FOSS edition, right?
Re: Aborting, unknown platform: UBUNTU16
Correct. This is OSE version.

I found the same error because I was using 32 bit ubuntu and 64 bit zimbra, while using ubuntu x64 the problem was solved.
32 bit -> UBUNTU16
64 bit -> UBUNTU16_64
